About OutGlam
Is OutGlam free?
OutGlam is free to download. Crop, adjust, filters, text and the background remover are free. AI edits cost 1 credit each, and new users get a free starter credit. There are no ads.
Who makes OutGlam?
OutGlam is made by Nureply Inc., an independent developer. You can reach us at hi@nureplyinc.com.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. The app creates a random ID on your phone the first time you open it.
Is OutGlam on Android or the web?
No. OutGlam is an iPhone app. There is no Android version and no web editor.
Can I type in my own language?
Yes. Type the change in your own words and language. The app itself is in English and 18 other languages.
Credits and pricing
What does an AI edit cost?
1 credit, whether you type the change, tap a template or pick an AI scene. Animate costs 10 credits for a Quick Video and 56 for a Studio Video, about 5 seconds each. The price shows before you tap.
How much do credits cost?
Credit packs are $2.99 for 5 credits, $9.99 for 50 and $12.99 for 100. Plans start at $4.99 a week. US prices; the App Store shows the price in your currency.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Credit packs are one-time purchases, and the free tools need no credits at all.
How does the free trial work?
When a plan offers a free trial, the App Store shows its length and the price after it before you start. If notifications are on, the app reminds you before the trial ends. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In the app, open Profile and tap Manage or cancel, or go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If notifications are on, the app reminds you before the trial ends.
What if an edit fails or I don’t like it?
Failed and refused edits are never charged, and neither is an edit you cancel before it’s delivered. If a result misses, redo it free, up to 3 times in any 7 days.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is there a watermark?
AI edits you save can carry a watermark until you buy something; photos edited only with the free tools never do. Any purchase, a credit pack or a plan, removes it.
Privacy and safety
Are my photos uploaded?
Free tools run on your iPhone. AI edits, templates, Erase, HD and Animate send the photo to our server and our AI providers, only after you allow it.
Are my photos used to train AI?
We don’t use your photos to train AI models. How our AI providers handle them is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Which edits are refused?
Explicit or sexual edits, undressing someone, hateful or violent content, and deceptive edits such as forged IDs, documents or payment screenshots. Refused requests are never charged.
Outfit changer
Is the outfit changer free?
Each try-on costs 1 credit. New users get a free starter credit, so the first one is free. Crop, Adjust, Filters, Text and Background are free.
Will it keep my face?
It is made to keep your face, hair, skin tone and pose and change only the clothes. If a result changes more than you asked, redo it free, up to 3 times in any 7 days.
Can I see a specific item on me?
Yes. Add up to 3 reference photos, such as a screenshot of the product page, and ask OutGlam to put it on you.
Can I try a new hairstyle or hair color too?
Yes. The Looks templates include a short cut, long waves and honey blonde hair, or type it, like “make my hair red.”
Which photos work best?
A well-lit photo where you face the camera and the clothes you want to change are visible. Full-length photos work best for whole outfits.
AI headshots
Is the AI headshot maker free?
Each headshot costs 1 credit, shown before you tap. New users get a free starter credit, so the first one is free.
Will the headshot still look like me?
The headshot templates are made to keep your face, identity, skin tone, age and hair the same, with natural skin texture. If a result doesn’t look like you, redo it free, up to 3 times in any 7 days.
Which selfie works best?
A clear, front-facing photo of your face in good light. Sunglasses, hats and strong shadows make it harder.
Can I choose the outfit and the background?
Yes. Pick one of five styles (Studio headshot, Office headshot, Outdoor portrait, Dark studio portrait, Friendly profile photo) or type your own, like “a navy blazer and a plain gray backdrop.”
Product photos
Is it free to make product photos?
Cutting out the background, adding text and cropping are free and run on your iPhone. AI scenes, like marble, outdoors or a lifestyle setting, cost 1 credit each.
Will it keep my label and logo?
The product templates are made to keep the product’s shape, colors, label, logo and printed text the same, sharp and legible. AI redraws the photo, so check the small print before you post.
Can I get a transparent PNG?
Yes. In Background, choose None for a transparent background; the photo then saves as a PNG.
Which sizes can I crop to?
Square listing, Shop listing, Portrait post (4:5) and Story (9:16), plus ratios like 1:1, 3:4, 2:3 and 16:9.
Can I add a price or a sale tag?
Yes, with the free Text tool: 10 fonts, any color, a background and a shadow. For 1 credit, the Sale banner template writes “SALE” and “Limited time”, and New arrival writes “NEW ARRIVAL”.
Editing by typing
What can I ask for?
Most changes you can describe: clothes, hair, colors, light, the background, things to add or remove. Explicit, hateful and deceptive edits are refused and never charged.
Do I need special words?
No. Write it the way you would say it. The app turns your words into instructions for the AI model, so “make it brighter” works.
Can I change just one part of the photo?
Yes. Brush over the area you mean with Select area, and only that part changes.
Animate
How much does Animate cost?
A Quick Video costs 10 credits and a Studio Video 56 credits. The price shows before you start, and failed clips are never charged.
How long is a clip, and does it have sound?
About 5 seconds. A Studio Video comes with sound; a Quick Video is silent.
Do I have to describe the motion?
No. Leave it blank and Animate adds subtle, natural motion and a gentle camera move, keeping faces, details and colors true to the photo. Or describe it, like “she smiles and adjusts her scarf.”
Where does the clip go?
Save it to Photos or share it straight from the app.
Backgrounds
Is removing the background free?
Yes. Background (Remove background on the Home screen) runs on your iPhone, uses no credits and has no daily limit.
What can I put behind the subject?
Nothing (a transparent background), white, black, any color, a blur of the original or one of your own photos. A brush refines the edges.
How is this different from lifting a subject in Photos?
In Photos you can copy or share the subject on its own. OutGlam puts it on a new background in the same photo, with edges you can refine, and AI scenes place you somewhere new.
Will a new scene match the light?
The scene templates are made to match the light and shadows on you to the new place and to keep your face, pose and outfit the same.
Removing objects
Is Erase free?
Yes. Free within a daily limit. Each free use comes back 24 hours after you used it, and the app shows when.
What can I remove?
People in the background, wires, signs, litter or clutter: brush over them and the scene fills in.
Can I remove a watermark or a logo?
Not from images you do not own: the Terms of Use do not allow it.
Does Erase need a connection?
Yes. The photo and the area you marked are uploaded after you allow it, and the result comes back to your phone.
HD and old photos
Is HD upscale free?
Yes. Free within a daily limit. Each free use comes back 24 hours after you used it, and the app shows when.
How much bigger does HD make a photo?
Twice the width and twice the height, up to 4096 pixels on the long side.
Should I use HD or Sharpen a blurry photo?
HD makes a small photo bigger with more detail. Sharpen a blurry photo (1 credit) is for a photo that is out of focus, recovering detail in faces, edges and textures.
Can it fix old photos?
Yes. Restore an old photo repairs scratches, tears, stains and fading, and Colorize black and white adds natural color. Each costs 1 credit.
Free tools
Do the free tools use credits?
No. Crop, Adjust, Filters, Text and Background never use credits and have no limit. Erase and HD are free within a daily limit.
Do the free tools add a watermark?
No. Photos you edit only with the free tools save without one. Erase and HD don’t add one either, though a photo that was made with an AI edit keeps its mark until your first purchase.
Do they work offline?
Crop, Adjust, Filters, Text and Background do: they run on your iPhone and upload nothing. Erase and HD need a connection.
